(t)#2
Exhibition and public programme

You are very welcome to the second edition of (t) taking place in Woonhuis. Situated between private and public space, this edition of (t) approaches heritage as something living; embodied through gestures, spaces, bodies, and words. Through performances and an exhibition, the program explores how memory can be activated, unsettled, and reimagined. (t)#2 brings together nine artists who examine heritage through the politics of memory: what do we choose to preserve, and what fades away? Who has access to memory, and who shapes the stories we inherit?

terra(t)rium merges the concepts of the terrarium and the atrium; two distinct environments defined as indoor spaces, yet similar by design in the way they introduce and are subject to their exterior. In their own fashion they mediate between the public and private domain.
(t) aims to underscore this interconnectedness and the potential of such spaces as forums by operating as a nomadic host, converting private(-esque) spaces into inclusive public spheres through performances, discussions, readings, screenings, lectures, workshops, exhibitions.
(t) is a collective founded and organized by Tara Eva Kuijpers Wentink and Finn Theuws.
